I’m pleased to let you know that the development of the Roy Grace television series is now moving forward. It is still in early stages, but our next step is to find our lead actor to play the character of Roy Grace himself. Roy is 39 when we first meet him and is now coming up to his 40th birthday, so it needs to be someone in that age range, and who is not already in an established role playing another TV detective.
There is no start date yet but I would hope to see production commence in the third quarter of 2011. We have not yet decided on the broadcaster or any of the interested overseas parties. I will post further developments as they happen, but in the meantime if you have any actor you feel strongly should be considered for the role, please post it here.
