This is the long-anticipated 8th book in the Roy Grace series. Rock superstar, Gaia, desperate to be taken seriously as an actor, takes on the role of Maria Fitzherbert in the hope of an Oscar nomination. It is being filmed mostly in the Pavilion in Brighton. Roy Grace is charged with her security as well as trying to solve a couple of murders that will eventually become related to Gaia. Throw in an obsessed stalker, more about Sandy – his missing wife – and you have the usual page-turner from Peter James. It finishes with a cliffhanger needless to say.
