Well, I made a promise to you all that if I won the Specsavers ITV3 People’s Bestseller Dagger Award, then I’d celebrate by buying fish and chips for any of you who turned up on Brighton Pier the following day! To my total and utter amazement, beating the other shortlisted authors, Lee Child, David Baldacci, Mark Billingham and Peter Robinson, I won!!!!! I’m still walking on air! Unlike so many awards which decided by elite judging panels, this one is voted for 100% by the public, and therefore is to me the most meaningful of all of them. I cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful support all those of you gave me by voting for me. Truly there is a cod 🙂
