Dead Tomorrow Paperback and iPhone App!
PJ Bus Advert
Dead Tomorrow Bus Adverts - shown here in miniature form!

The paperback of Dead Tomorrow is published on November 26th, and will available from all bookshops as well as many supermarkets.

Dead Tomorrow will be supported by my first ever TV advertising campaign, which starts nationwide on November 30th and will also be advertised on buses throughout central London - hence the minature mockup shown above!

Dead Tomorrow will also be simultaneously published as an ebook and has the distinction of being the first book series ever published as an iPhone app.(You can download Dead Simple free as well! And you can download the rest of the Roy Grace series for £4.99 a book.) Both of these versions will come with added extras, including my research notes, Roy Grace's favourite records playlist, and the original manuscript with editorial notes.

There is also an unabridged audio book of Dead Tomorrow which is available from the Whole Story Audio Books website – www.wholestoryaudio.co.uk.

For those of you who can't wait for your next Roy Grace fix (!) I have a novella, "The Perfect Murder" being published on March 4th. This is a noir story, set in Brighton, about a husband who is planning to murder his wife - and does not know that she, at the same time, is planning to murder him. This is not a Roy Grace book, but it does contain some supernatural elements, so those of you who are fans of my earlier novels may well enjoy it, too! You can pre-order The Perfect Murder at Amazon.co.uk

Peter, All good news will order the March book (The perfect murder) from the library nearer the time.
How handsome our double deckers are. Even better with your ad on it.

Dear Peter,

Wonderful, can't wait to read Dead Tomorrow. Also looking forward to The Perfect Murder, greatly enjoyed your books with paranormal elements that I think you address very intelligently. I'm a researcher in 'anomalistic psychology' at Goldsmiths and although more or less a skeptic I enjoy reading about the paranormal and think that you included such themes in your work very successfully. Thanks for providing me with many hours of reading enjoyment, Julia

Your innovation and support for ebooks are appreciated - as are your stories of course. I notice however that Dead Tomorrow
costs £3.49 on Amazon but the e-version is £10.85 at tescos and even more on WH Smith and Waterstones.
I can't imagine why this is the case. Your thoughts ? Maybe you can have a word :)

I've passed on this to my publishers and asked them to come back to me. Will let you know asap.

Re the pricing query, this is the reply from my publishers:

"Just coming back to you on this. When we move from hardback to paperback release in print format, we also reduce the price of the ebook accordingly. This change was made in our systems but, due to an error in our automated feeds out to retailers, the change did not flow through as quickly as it should. The RRP should be flowing through this week at £6.99 to match the paperback price, after which retailers will offer it generally slightly less than that. Waterstones generally prices at around 20% off our RRP, for example.
